Senior Business Analyst – Data (Corporate Strategy)

As a Business Analyst – Data, you will work closely with business stakeholders, Data & IT teams, and external partners to gather requirements, analyze data sources, and translate business needs into clear technical specifications.
Responsibilities- Partner with stakeholders to understand the business use cases
- Translate business needs into data requirements and technical specifications for data engineers
- Analyze source system APIs and data to guide ingestion and transformation
- Define data mapping, lineage, transformation, and data quality rules required to bridge the gap between source and the target
- Create clear data flow and process diagrams for technical and non‑technical audiences
- Support development of scalable, reliable data pipelines for analytics and AI
- Promote data integrity, quality, and governance
- Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and leadership
- Recommend tools, products and services that support enterprise data goals
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience as a business or data analyst in a data migration or data warehouse role
- Strong knowledge of P & C insurance domain, especially claims and policy administration systems (Guidewire experience is a plus)
- Familiarity with the Investments domain is a plus
- Hands‑on experience with AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, Lambda), SQL, and BI tools (Micro Strategy a plus), and data platforms like Teradata or Snowflake
- Proficiency with Agile, Jira, Confluence, Lucid/Visio, and Excel
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
