Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Tax Credit Associate in Providence, RI. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of tax credit experience, with a focus on real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits. Candidates in St. Louis are strongly preferred, but consideration will be given to those in Providence, including virtual office options.
Duties- Advise clients on tax credit matters and strategies.
- Collaborate with real estate finance teams on projects.
- Conduct legal research and draft related documents.
- Participate in client meetings and negotiations.
- Minimum of four years of tax credit experience.
- Experience with real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits.
- Active bar license in the relevant state or commitment to obtain one.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
CertificationsActive bar license in the state of practice.
