Licensed Practical Nurse Transportation Nurse Needed

School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Wakefield, RI | Part-Time

We're seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a school district in Wakefield, RI for the  school year. This is a part-time position supporting a student during daily transportation to and from school.

  September 2026 – June 2027
• Schedule:
  
  20 hours per week (4 hours per day)
• Part-time position

• Ride the school bus with a student during morning transportation to school and afternoon transportation home
• Provide nursing care and monitor the student's health during transport
• Respond to any medical needs that may arise while on the bus
• Communicate with school staff, transportation personnel, and the student's family as needed
• Help ensure a safe and positive transportation experience for the student

• Active Rhode Island LPN license
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Previous pediatric or school-based nursing experience is a plus
• Reliable, caring, and able to work independently
