We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to serve as our Director of Nursing (DON) at Greenville Center Managed by Advinia Care. As a DON, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of our Nursing Department, ensuring that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing service department, as well as its programs and activities, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the nursing care facilities.
• Oversee the management of the nursing staff: RN, LPN, CNA.
• Ensure adequate staffing of the nursing department.
• Participate in the hiring process of nursing staff.
• Develop, maintain, and periodically update written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of the nursing service department.
• Coordinate continuing education/in‑service training for the nursing department.
• Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure that medications are being administered as ordered and that treatments are provided as scheduled.
• Provide direct nursing care as necessary.
• Review nurses' notes to ensure that they are informative and descriptive of the nursing care being provided.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information, including protected health information.

• Must have, as a minimum, 3 years of experience as a supervisor in long term care facility.
• Registered Nurse with current unencumbered state license.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
