We are looking for engaging, self‑motivated, goal‑oriented sales professionals to wow our customers with excellent customer service in a professional team‑oriented environment.
All newly hired sales professionals attend a paid, in‑depth training program to prepare them with the knowledge and skills to provide customers with an unparalleled shopping experience.
ScheduleDays, evenings (8 pm*), weekends and holidays required.
Responsibilities- Exceed customer expectations by providing outstanding customer service and product knowledge.
- Greet customers in a timely, friendly, non‑pressured and professional manner.
- Focus on daily, weekly and monthly sales goals set by managers.
- Attend and contribute to company meetings and training sessions to improve performance and skills.
- Act as an ambassador for Cardi’s Furniture, implementing creative ideas for additional business through networking, prospecting, and social media.
- Contribute to an upbeat, positive work environment.
- Enter all sales orders accurately, reviewing with customers for completeness and accuracy.
- Perform additional functions assigned at management’s discretion.
- Ability to work a retail schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.
- Interior design or sales experience/knowledge is a plus but not required.
- Physically able to stand and move throughout showrooms for 8–12 hour days.
- Ability to maintain emotional composure in a professional business setting.
- Strong work ethic and dependability.
- General computer proficiency.
Professional dress required.
Physical Requirements
The role is performed in a store environment, routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopy and fax machines, and a personal cell phone for customer contact. The employee will handle and move product to demonstrate to customers. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Employees continuously walk or stand on the showroom floor for extended periods, use hands to handle or feel items and reach with arms.
Lifting and carrying small items up to 30 lb may be required.
