Counter Sales Representative

Job Description

As a Counter/Inside Sales Representative, you will oversee the daily operations of the facility. Specific duties include:

• Provide exceptional customer service to businesses and contractors.
• Use your knowledge and technical expertise to promote and generate sales of our water systems and water treatment product lines.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve problems with a sense of urgency.
• Proactively contact customers to increase sales activity.
• Schedule and establish delivery dates of products; coordinate with drivers.
• Handle point of sale transactions; complete required paperwork.
• Track and monitor stock levels and inventory; handle annual physical inventory.
• Manage the warehouse staff, work closely with the outside sales representative and other location managers.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude
• High school diploma/GED coupled with a mechanical aptitude required
• Minimum 3 years customer service/inside sales experience
• Knowledge of water systems/water treatment a plus
• Basic computer (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Willingness to attend product and technical training
