Position

School Psychologist/School Social Worker – Full-time

Exeter-West Greenwich Regional School District – West Greenwich, Rhode Island.

• Provide counseling and evidence-based related services/interventions for identified students and/or as documented on IEPs.
• Support school-wide preventative and proactive strategies to address social–emotional competencies and health.
• Facilitate support groups based on student needs.
• Serve as an integral member of the school's MTSS team.
• Locate community resources to assist students and families in need.
• Consult with teachers and other staff to address behavioral and social‑emotional needs of students.
• Document specialized and related services for identified students through the IEP process.
• Collect and analyze data for academic and/or behavioral needs.
• Conduct evaluations, as appropriate, to include functional behavior analyses, social histories and/or psychological assessments.

• Certified by RIDE as a School Psychologist or School Social Worker.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, staff, and administration.
• Model positivity and be committed to providing services for children in the least restrictive environment.
• At least two years of relevant experience preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
