CDL B Driver

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL B Driver to operate a 26’ box truck for local deliveries throughout Rhode Island and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for a driver who takes pride in punctuality, customer service, and maintaining equipment to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a 26’ box truck to deliver farm products to customers, markets, and distribution points

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and DOT compliance

Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and secure transport

Follow scheduled delivery routes while maintaining on-time performance

Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork

Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status

Adhere to all federal, state, and local driving regulations

Keep vehicle clean and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly

Qualifications:

Valid CDL (Class B preferred; Class A accepted)
Clean driving record with no major violations

Previous experience operating a box truck or similar commercial vehicle

Ability to lift, move, and handle products as needed

Strong work ethic and reliability

Good communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Schedule:

Full-time- home daily

Typical shifts may include early morning starts

Compensation:

Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)
Overtime opportunities available weekly

DOT Medical Card Driver's License Current CDL License
