Warehouse Bulk Selector 2nd Shift

Warehouse Bulk Selector (Full Time 2nd Shift) – Staples, Inc.

Work Location:

West Kingston, USA.

• Material Handling Operator: Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to pick product up to 100 lbs and move product within the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures.
• Warehouse Porter: Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance inside and outside the facility; operate material handling equipment as required.
• Replenishment: Restock inventory and move goods using forklifts or other equipment while maintaining safety.
• Receiving/Putaway/Returns: Verify product accuracy, unload trucks, palletize items, and resolve discrepancies and damage reports.
• Returns: Match returned items to packing slips, check in returned products, and tag them appropriately.
• Shipping: Organize, stack, and shrink‑wrap customer orders on pallets; load trucks manually and maintain a safe workspace.

• Ability to be a certified material handling equipment operator.
• Willingness to keep the work area clean.

• Experience working in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.

• Minimum 3 months related experience in a warehouse environment, or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
• Pass a drug screen within legal limits.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Full‑time associates must be available for additional hours beyond the scheduled shift; overtime may be required.
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 and 100 pounds by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• At least 18 years old.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, or cherry picker.

• Competitive hourly rate: $22.80/hour (includes $1.00/hour shift differential).
• Three days after 60 days, receive a pair of work shoes.
