Aircraft Composite Repair Technician

Due to the excellent reputation of the business and the subsequent increase in workload, an additional Composite Repair Technician is required.
RoleSummary:
A competent and self-motivated Composite Repair Technician is required to bring their experience for all aircraft maintenance activities, including scheduled and unscheduled composite maintenance and repairs.
Main responsibilities:- Carrying out maintenance of aircraft as defined by customer requirements
- Carrying out repairs to composite airframe structure as per SRM.
- Maintaining the upkeep of the composite room and equipment and keeping all necessary records up to date including the composite procedures.
- Working in accordance with Company procedures using only correctly maintained and uniquely identified personal tooling, company tooling and calibrated test equipment.
- Ensuring correct completion of all maintenance documentation in a timely, in accordance with all aspects of the MOE Part 2 and procedures.
- Informing Engineers of any adverse issues affecting safety, productivity and progression of work.
- Ensuring correct storage of aircraft components and tooling including blanking, labelling and protection in accordance with Company procedures.
- Maintaining standard engineering practices regarding general husbandry, workplace cleanliness and FOD prevention measures.
- Proven track record, typically achieved with 5 years minimum experience in aviation maintenance (including time served during an apprenticeship) within a Part 145 organisation.
- Evidence of recency on composite repairs within the last two years.
- Ability to read and understand engineering repair drawings.
- Ability to use recognised aircraft documentation, including the Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives.
