This role supports the Yard Operations Manager at a busy construction equipment yard. The right candidate has construction equipment rental experience. Truck fleet dispatch experience does not apply.
Backhoes, excavators, trenching equipment, shoring, scaffolding, and Caterpillar equipment rentals experience all apply.
The yard runs scaffolding, mast climbers, rope access equipment, and concrete forming and shoring gear. This equipment ships to stadiums, hospitals, and power plants.
Benefits:The pay is up to $130k plus benefits. Medical, dental, and vision insurance are included along with a 401(k) + matching. This job is full-time and direct-hire with PTO.
Job Duties:You receive incoming equipment. You inspect returned equipment for damage. You stage equipment for outgoing orders. You load trucks. You unload trucks. You keep the yard organized.
Job Responsibilities:You assist with daily yard operations. You track equipment availability. You help keep inventory records accurate. You help lead a crew of 10 to 20 employees. You train new crew members. You enforce yard safety rules. English and Spanish is a plus.
