Duties
* Deliver interactive lessons on drone operation, safety protocols, and basic engineering principles for elementary students (lesson plans and materials are provided by Athena).
* Supervise students during drone flights and STEM activities to ensure safe and responsible use of equipment.
* Support classroom management and promote teamwork, participation, and an inclusive learning environment.
* Maintain safety standards related to drone handling and STEM tools, including pre-flight checks and basic equipment care.
* Observe student progress and provide simple, constructive feedback to help students improve.
* Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth, engaging sessions.

Experience and Qualifications
* ** For Assistant Instructor roles:
** Part 107 certification is
** not required**.
* ** For Lead Instructor roles:
** Part 107 certification is
** required**.
* Applicants should have
** experience working with kids, experience with drones, or both**.
* Prior experience working with elementary-aged students in educational, camp, coaching, or extracurricular settings is strongly preferred.
* Drone experience (hobbyist or professional) is a plus, but
** not required for assistant instructors**.
* College coursework or experience related to education, engineering, robotics, or STEM is a bonus.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly and enthusiastically.
* Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple activities while prioritizing student safety.
