Job Summary

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

We are seeking driven and talented recent graduates to join our Talent Development Program (TDP). This 12-month program provides hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of Cemex USA operations. As a Talent Development Professional (TDP), you will rotate through various roles within our Aggregates division, gaining valuable insights and developing the skills to thrive in your career.

Job Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE

During the program, you will be immersed in key areas of the business and participate in project-based learning to collaborate and network across Cemex’s business lines, including Aggregates, Cement, Ready-Mix/Concrete, and Supply Chain. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Safety Excellence: Learn safety protocols and contribute to maintaining or exceeding safety standards across operations.
  • Rotational Learning: Participate in rotations covering Mine Planning, Process Improvements, Quality and Reliability, Production, Maintenance, and Data Management.
  • Skill Development: Develop technical and soft skills through hands-on work, training, and mentorship; enhance leadership abilities.
  • Networking: Build a network across the company with peers, mentors, and leaders.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Contribute ideas to drive continuous improvement in Aggregate operations.
Qualifications

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking motivated graduates who are eager to grow with Cemex. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Educational Foundation: A recent bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Geology, or related field.
  • Academic Performance: GPA of 2.5 or above, with preference for 3.0+.
  • Leadership Potential: Leadership qualities and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Proficiency in analytical and presentation abilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Internship, co-op, or university project experience in the industry is valued.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to relocate within the U.S. if needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Working Conditions

Work Schedule: Full-time, on-site, 40-hour week (typically Monday through Friday).

Environment: Mix of office work and fieldwork with varying conditions, including outdoor settings.
