Job Summary – Aggregate Internship Development Program

We are excited to offer current college students an immersive 10-week experience starting in May. The program provides hands-on experience and a deep understanding of Aggregate operations, including Mine Planning, Process Improvements, Quality and Reliability, Inventory Maintenance, and Data Management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Project-Based Experience – engage in challenging projects, working with experienced professionals to solve real-world problems.
  • Skill Building – develop technical and soft skills through hands-on work and continuous learning, and refine presentation skills by sharing outcomes.
  • Networking and Collaboration – build connections with peers and professionals across the organization.
  • Innovation and Improvement – bring forward innovative solutions that contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Active pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Geology, or related field, at least junior year standing.
  • GPA of 2.5 or higher (3.0 preferred).
  • Leadership potential and proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, able to present ideas clearly.
  • Experience through internships, co-ops, or university projects related to the industry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
  • Full-time, on-site internship, 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday.
  • Mix of office work and fieldwork with varying environmental conditions.
