WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Primary Maintenance team member, you’ll help keep our restaurant, equipment, and surrounding property clean, safe, functional, and ready for our customers and crew.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Keep it clean:
Deep-clean restaurant equipment, work areas, restrooms, stock rooms, windows, floors, and other areas throughout the restaurant.
  • Keep it moving:
Complete assigned maintenance and upkeep tasks on time and according to restaurant standards.
  • Work with your hands:
Perform physical, hands‑on work involving cleaning, lifting, moving supplies, equipment upkeep, and general restaurant maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and problem-solve:
Identify maintenance issues, determine practical solutions, and communicate issues that require additional support.
  • Take ownership:
Work independently on assigned tasks while following direction and priorities provided by the General Manager.
  • Keep equipment ready:
Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and safety checks on restaurant equipment and building systems.
  • Take care of the outside:
Maintain exterior areas, parking lot, sidewalks, landscaping, trash areas, and other property areas.
  • Keep supplies moving:
Help unload deliveries and replenish necessary restaurant supplies.
  • Keep things fresh:
Filter fryer oil and complete other routine equipment maintenance and cleaning.
  • Handle the tough stuff:
Take out trash, operate the trash compactor, clean difficult‑to‑reach areas, and tackle jobs that require physical effort.
  • Help maintain the building:
Change light bulbs and assist with basic upkeep of restaurant fixtures, equipment, and facilities.
  • Keep it safe:
Clean HVAC/exhaust areas and remove debris from designated areas, including roof areas when assigned and safe to do so.
  • Be part of the team:
Work cooperatively with the restaurant team and communicate when assignments are completed or when additional help is needed.
  • Welcome our customers:
You’ll work throughout the restaurant and may interact with customers regularly. Be friendly, acknowledge customers, and help create a welcoming environment whenever you see them.
THIS ROLE IS A GREAT FIT IF YOU:
  • Enjoy working with your hands instead of sitting behind a desk.
  • Don’t mind getting dirty and doing physical work.
  • Take pride in keeping things clean, organized, and working properly.
  • Like figuring out “What’s wrong?” and “How can I fix it?”
  • Can work independently and stay productive without someone standing over you.
  • Are responsible and follow through…
