Utilities Clerk – #35, Rialto (ages 16-17)

Starting Rate: $16.90 per hour.

Location: 515 S. Riverside Ave., Rialto, California 92376, United States.

• Assist in the proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department, and assist customers on the store floor as needed.
• Bag groceries for customers when needed; carry groceries for customers if requested.
• Maintain and retrieve store carts, run price checks, assist with go-backs, assist with check stand upkeep, and remove waste from the parking area.
• Ensure the store remains clean and safe at all times.
• Manage general store maintenance duties in a fast‑paced grocery environment.

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, occasionally up to 60 pounds.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills (preferred).
• Retail Management Certificate (preferred).
