Class A Driver

Job Summary

Med Trans is Medline's private fleet of professional drivers that delivers our lifesaving medical products directly to both commercial and residential customers. Our fleet consists of 1,900+ trucks with newer equipment, and we manage a network of over 50 distribution centers nationwide to provide 1‑day shipping to 95% of the United States.

• Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck.
• Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route.
• Abide by Medline’s safety regulations, including wearing safety equipment where needed and performing safety checks.
• Unload and deliver product at customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Provide in‑person support to the customer – address their questions and needs and provide appropriate documentation upon delivery.
• Communicate with the dispatching team regarding necessary adjustments to the delivery route or schedule to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
• Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
• Perform inspection of the vehicle to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels for continued use.

Minimum 2 years tractor‑trailering driving experience, Class A CDL; licensed to operate the assigned vehicle. Ability to meet Federal and State requirements for operation of commercial motor vehicles. Clean driving record with no serious violations.

The anticipated salary range for this position: $26.75 – $38.75 per hour. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average. For roles where employees work less than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions, paid time off, as well as access to the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups and the Employee Service Corp.
