Title:

Local CDL-A Flatbed Tractor–Trailer Operator Compensation: $26/hour + overtime and bonuses; approximate annual earnings ~ $95,000

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays; home daily

Equipment:
Flatbed tractor–trailers, operating at or above 80,000 lbs GVWEnvironment:
Rain or Shine Primary responsibilities

Deliver reinforced concrete pipe to local job sites

Match orders to shipment paperwork and confirm accuracy

Complete pre- and post-trip inspections; report safety/mechanical issues to shop mechanics

Maintain ELD and paper records for drive/rest periods, mileage, and receipts

Follow ICC/DOT rules for size, weight, routing, parking, and breaks, plus company policies

Safely position for loading and unloading

Receive, collect, and verify delivery instructions

Report any defects, accidents, or violations immediately

Core skills

Adaptable under changing traffic and weather conditions

Clear, timely communication with dispatch

Safety-focused mindset; proactive risk management

Comfort with longer local driving hours as needed

Qualifications

At least 3 years Class A CDL Experience Clean driving record with no moving violations2–5 years flatbed experience preferred

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to pass background, MVR, drug test, and DOT physicalDOT Medical Card Current CDL License
