Turner’s Outdoors man, California’s leading hunting, fishing, and outdoor sporting goods store, is looking for a reliable and dedicated Warehouse Custodian to join our team. This position involves warehouse activities which involve physical activities such as bending, lifting and loading. Turner’s staff members are team players who strive for customer satisfaction. The Warehouse Custodian plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse environment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This position is responsible for performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, managing waste disposal, and supporting inventory management by keeping storage areas orderly. The custodian helps create a safe workplace by identifying and reporting hazards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and assisting with minor repairs as needed.

By maintaining a clean and well‑organized warehouse, the custodian directly contributes to operational efficiency and the overall productivity of the warehouse team. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to facility upkeep to support the broader logistics and supply chain functions.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to stand for long periods on hard surfaces, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols and willingness to follow established procedures.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Legally eligible to work in a firearms environment
• Must be 18 years or older

• Experience working in a warehouse or industrial environment.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and maintenance tools.
• Basic knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
• Previous experience in custodial, janitorial, or warehouse maintenance roles preferred.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols, and company policies.
• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and supervisors.
• Experience in the use of hand/power tools and warehouse equipment preferred.

• Sweep floors, remove loose pallet wrap from pick locations, clean up debris under pallet rack and exterior truck court, clean bathrooms.
• Maintain organization of storage areas, ensuring materials and equipment are stored properly and safely.
• Inspect the warehouse for safety hazards and report any issues to management promptly.
• Assist with minor maintenance and repairs such as assembling office furniture and shelving, changing light bulbs, and other small maintenance tasks.
• Support inventory control efforts by keeping aisles clear and ensuring that pallets and goods are stored in designated locations.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling processes in compliance with company policies and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to facilitate smooth operations and respond to ad‑hoc cleaning or maintenance requests.

• Indoor and outdoor environments, which may occasionally involve exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
• Frequent use of power tools, hand tools, pallet jacks, forklifts and cardboard balers.
