Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity

We are seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a Locum Tenens assignment at two high-performing emergency departments in Eau Claire, WI and Rice Lake, WI. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details

• Setting: Inpatient Emergency Medicine
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Ongoing (long-term need)
• Shifts Available:
  Eau Claire 3 physicians + 1 APC scheduled daily
• 6:30 AM 6:30 PM
• 6:30 PM 6:30 AM
• 11:00 AM 11:00 PM
• APC shift: 8:00 AM 8:00 PM

Rice Lake 2 physicians + 1 APC scheduled daily

• 6:30 AM 6:30 PM
• 6:00 PM 6:30 AM
• APC shift: 10:00 AM 10:00 PM
• Shift Volume:
• Eau Claire & Rice Lake combined
• 500 patients/month in winter
• 625 patients/month in summer
• Shifts Per Provider: 5 10+ shifts per month ideal
• Call: No call responsibilities
• Orientation: Full orientation required prior to first shift (Mon Fri)

Practice & Facility Information

• Work Environment: Inpatient only
• Support Staff: Multidisciplinary team, strong APC support
• EMR System: Cerner
• Telehealth: Not required
• Malpractice: Providers with current or pending malpractice claims will not be accepted
• Credentialing: Temp privileges available for candidates with a clean file
