Patio Security Screen Door Operator - 1st Shift

Quanex is looking for a Patio Security Screen Door (PSSD) Operator - 1st Shift to join our team located in Rice Lake, WI.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm. Overtime needs vary daily during the busy season.

The hourly range for this position begins at $20.50 per hour with opportunity for pay increase on an annual basis.

What Success Looks Like:

• Follow manufacturing orders, drawings, setup charts, and verbal or written instructions to assemble, package, and label products according to customer specifications.
• Set up and operate equipment across multiple product families, including tooling changes, changeovers, machine adjustments, and troubleshooting.
• Inspect parts, perform and document required quality checks, and maintain basic production records.
• Requisition materials, clear jams, clean and lubricate equipment, dispose of scrap, and maintain an organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members, prioritize assignments, and work efficiently to meet production goals.
• Follow all safety procedures, maintain dependable attendance, work overtime as required, and perform other assigned duties.

Your Credentials:

• Dependable and reliable, with strong attendance and a self-motivated approach.
• Eager to learn, takes initiative, and demonstrates strong attention to detail.
• Team-oriented and able to follow established processes and safety expectations.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment using basic machinery and hand tools, including saws, punches, presses, staple guns, hammers, and screwdrivers.
• Knowledge of decimal tape measures, calipers, micrometers, comparators, gauges, fixtures, and other quality-inspection equipment.
