Senior Automotive Electrician

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automotive Electrician to join their reputable workshop in Richards Bay . This critical role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electrical systems in a variety of vehicles. You will be instrumental in ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable, and performing optimally, utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment and your extensive knowledge. • Diagnose and repair complex automotive electrical system faults, including wiring, sensors, ECUs, and lighting systems.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and oscilloscopes to pinpoint electrical issues accurately.
• Perform installations and upgrades of electrical components and accessories.
• Interpret wiring diagrams and technical service bulletins effectively.
• Mentor junior technicians on best practices for automotive electrical repair.
• Ensure all electrical repairs are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

• Minimum of 5 years of specialized experience as an Automotive Electrician.
• Master certifications in Automotive Electrical Systems or equivalent.
• Extensive experience with diagnostic software and equipment for major vehicle manufacturers.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex wiring schematics.
• Strong understanding of vehicle communication networks (CAN, LIN, etc.).
