We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Administrator to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our payroll operations to ensure accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and oversee company payroll including salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Entry payroll info on the payroll system
  • Review payroll data and source
  • Reconcile payroll hours and process payroll
  • Ensuring accurate processing of payroll deductions/garnishments
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws.
  • Input all payroll related data necessary for processing payroll
  • Perform payroll processing using the payroll system
  • Accumulating payroll information, preparing payroll checks.
  • Balance the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies
  • Track miscellaneous employee payroll deductions
  • Send payroll reports
  • Performing quarterly audits of payroll related invoices and payroll deductions
  • Resolve payroll/tax reporting issues
  • Day to day liaison with Payroll supervisor and clients
  • Maintain and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports for all payroll transactions.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to align payroll with business objectives.
  • Address and resolve employee inquiries regarding payroll.
  • Manage year-end reporting and reconciliation processes, including tax forms and summaries.
  • Lead and mentor junior payroll staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Requires 2-4 years of payroll experience.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding payroll, benefits, tax, etc.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is preferred.
  • Must be able to maintain highest level of confidentiality for all employee payroll and personnel records.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service while working with frequent interruptions in a fast‑paced environment, meeting deadlines and/or mandates and maintain effective communication with all internal and contacts.
  • Strong organization skills, ability to set priorities.
  • Working knowledge on Excel
  • Advanced knowledge on Excel is preferred.
