Accounting Manager

We’re partnering with a large, growing organization in the real estate industry that is looking to add an Accounting Manager to its corporate accounting team. This is a newly created individual contributor role with significant exposure to technical accounting, acquisitions, process improvement, and cross-functional projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone coming from public accounting who wants to move into a highly visible corporate accounting role while helping build best-in-class accounting processes.

• Support the month-end close process across a multi-entity organization, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Research technical accounting matters and assist with accounting policy development and documentation.
• Participate in acquisition integrations, including purchase accounting, trial balance mapping, and ERP implementations.
• Perform financial analysis and support special projects focused on operational and accounting process improvements.
• Assist with external audits and annual financial reporting.
• Partner with finance, operations, and leadership teams on strategic initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and internal controls.

• Public accounting audit experience required.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting environments preferred.
• Acquisition or purchase accounting exposure is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience.
