Bookkeeper

Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions and support accurate recordkeeping. This role is responsible for maintaining the general ledger, processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, and assisting with financial reporting. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working with accounting systems in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate bookkeeping records

+ Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

+ Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger balances

+ Prepare and post journal entries as needed

+ Maintain vendor and customer records

+ Assist with month-end close and financial reporting activities

+ Monitor cash flow and help track expenses and budgets

+ Ensure accuracy of invoices, payments, and account coding

+ Support payroll processing and related recordkeeping when needed

+ Maintain confidentiality of financial information

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience

+ Knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy

+ Excellent organizational and time management skills

+ Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients

Preferred Qualifications:

+

Experience with Quick Books, SAP, Oracle Net Suite, Microsoft D365, or similar accounting platforms

+ Familiarity with payroll processing and accounting controls

+ Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
