Senior Project Accountant

Our client is seeking a Project Accountant to join their growing construction team. This role will be responsible for supporting project financials, maintaining accurate job costing, and partnering closely with project managers and operations teams to ensure project success.

• Manage project accounting activities from project setup through closeout
• Monitor job costs, budgets, billings, and committed costs
• Prepare financial reports and project forecasts
• Reconcile project accounts and support month-end close
• Work closely with project managers and operations teams to ensure financial accuracy
• Assist with subcontractor billing, lien waivers, and payment processes

• 3+ years of construction project accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of job costing, project budgets, and progress billings
• Experience preparing financial reports and account reconciliations
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Experienced in construction project accounting
• Detail-oriented with a strong financial and analytical mindset
• Comfortable partnering with project teams and operations leaders
• Proficient with CMiC, Sage 300, Procore, Timber Scan, and/or Textura
• A collaborative team player who enjoys supporting project success
