Imprimis Group is Hiring an Office Manager / Finance & Operations Coordinator!

A client of ours is seeking a dependable, hands‑on Office Manager / Finance & Operations Coordinator to serve as the day‑to‑day backup to firm leadership for back‑office financial operations. This role will oversee routine accounting support, billing, and administrative coordination to ensure smooth office operations and accurate financial workflows. The ideal candidate is humble, coachable, detail‑oriented, and ready to grow into increased responsibility over time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily back‑office accounting support, including Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable and related administrative processes
  • Support legal billing activities and assist with billing workflow management (training available if needed)
  • Maintain accurate financial records and provide a second set of eyes to help identify discrepancies or missing items
  • Assist leadership with financial tracking needed for budgeting and planning (preparation, organization, and follow‑through)
  • Learn and utilize PCLaw (Lexis Nexis) and support continuous improvement in how the firm uses the system
  • Provide general office management support and handle operational tasks as needed (including occasional light physical tasks such as moving boxes/supplies)
  • Support coordination related to firm growth (e.g., onboarding logistics/administrative support as attorneys are added)
Qualifications
  • Prior experience supporting finance/operations in an office environment
  • Strong comfort with numbers and business fundamentals; able to work accurately and independently
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Reliable, consistent, and professional; strong interpersonal skills and team‑first mindset
  • Willingness to learn new systems and processes; comfortable being trained and coached
