Job DescriptionJob Summary
Exciting opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer of building products in the outdoor living segment. The purpose of the position is to provide billing, customer service, and administrative support to a rapidly growing business involved with several Fortune 100 companies.
Our office is a casual work environment located in Richardson, TX and the hours of the position are 9a-5p Monday through Friday.
The position will have the following responsibilities
- Process invoices and credit/debit memos
- Will be required to learn other positions as they relate to the billing position to comprehend process flow and discern potential billing issues .
- Assist management with other duties as assigned.
- Assist in all day-to-day tasks related to billing and the accounting office.
- Professionally receive and handle calls regarding customer service, product line inquiries, and purchase orders. Direct calls to the necessary recipients as appropriate.
- Process customer purchase orders
- Create and send warehouse order acknowledgements to customers prior to shipment.
- Provide detailed product support to customers, distributors, and sales representatives.
- Maintain accurate customer information.
- Provide inside sales support for Sales Representatives.
- Review shipping documents to confirm accuracy and process invoices
- Process Reships, Freight Claims, Warranties, Custom Orders, etc.
- Research and request Credit Memos, Debit Memos, Cycle Counts, etc.
- Assist sales staff and customers with order/invoice questions and shipment tracking.
- Engage in day-to-day tasks related to customer service and office administration.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Billing experience (at least 1 year preferred)
- Fast and Accurate keyboarding & 10 key skills (65 wpm + , 10,000 kph +)
- Proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook required.
- Professional appearance and demeanor required.
- Must possess a positive attitude and willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Must possess effective time management skills coupled with the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Microsoft Great Plains software experience a plus
