- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience working with database systems such as People Soft is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assisting faculty with purchasing, reimbursement filings, and room/resource access, arranging travel plans.
- Assisting Area with account management, including budget tracking and reconciling cost multiple centers.
- May assist faculty with communication to their students.
- Supporting other area admins with general administrative duties.
This is a full-time temporary position, scheduled for up to 40 hours per week.
