Position: PAYRLHR01 - 9903 - Corporate

Corporate Payroll Manager

Performs all activities necessary to process weekly payroll, including maintaining related records, filing tax reports and processing involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments, preparing accounting transactions and documents, documenting and updating procedures, and preparing special reports for management.

  • Prepare, analyze and process weekly payroll for all employees.
  • Review and verify payroll reports for accuracy.
  • Reconcile payroll deposits, tax withholding and employee deductions.
  • Calculate bonuses including but not limited to Store Best Of The Best (BOB), Delivery Specialist and Assistant Manager.
  • Process final payments for separating coworkers, and special transactions such as retroactive payments, and bonuses.
  • Responsible for answering written wage garnishments and all employment verifications.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies with payroll earnings, garnishments, and paycheck deductions.
  • Respond to payroll questions via phone, email, or in person. Responsible for taking action to resolve coworker payroll issues with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Send weekly Budget vs Payroll Report to Upper Management.
  • Transmit 401(k) with each weekly processed payroll.
  • Identify and implement on-going processed payroll.
  • Answer payroll related P&L questions
  • Responsible for timely weekly deposit of coworker's 401(k) transactions in accordance with all Federal laws and regulations

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, and scanners.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. The Company offers one flex day per week, after 60 continuous days of employment.
