We’re looking for full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Richardson, TX area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.
Aboutthe Position of Assistant Manager
As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers enforce established policies, procedures and standards; schedule mechanics/technicians work; manage outside orders; ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs; meet customer expectations; and protect the safety of team members.
About the Position of Service ManagerThe Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. They ensure complete customer satisfaction by delivering timely, high‑quality vehicle repair and maintenance, direct the workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians and tire technicians, stage vehicle repair/maintenance work, drive sales initiatives, communicate directly with customers, assess needs, provide information on required repairs and maintenance, and strive to meet customer expectations.

QualificationsEligible candidates must be at least 18 years of age, legally authorized to work in the United States, and possess:
- 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or
- 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or
- any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
