Overview

JSM Technology is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to engage and qualify prospective customers from a company-provided lead pool. This role is onsite in Richardson, TX and is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in gaining hands-on experience in B2B business development and pipeline building.

Responsibilities
  • Contact prospective companies from an assigned lead pool to introduce JSM Technology and assess fit
  • Qualify prospects based on need, purchasing potential, and alignment with JSM's product offerings
  • Conduct outreach via phone, email, and Linked In to initiate conversations with decision-makers
  • Maintain and update the CRM with accurate contact information, activity logs, and prospect status
  • Ensure consistent and timely follow-up with all assigned leads
  • Collaborate with the account management team to hand off qualified opportunities
  • Provide regular updates on outreach activity and pipeline progress
Requirements
  • Current student or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and initiating conversations with new contacts
  • Experience with or willingness to learn CRM platforms
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work onsite in Richardson, TX
  • Self-starter with a professional demeanor and strong attention to detail
