Under the direction of the Trade Compliance Manager, the Trade Compliance Analyst will ensure that the business undertakes export/import activities in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities Trade Compliance
  • Interpret complex U.S. export regulations and laws to respond to inquiries and provide guidance to the business on Trade Compliance matters, escalating to the Trade Compliance Manager if necessary
  • Manage a portfolio of ITAR/EAR export/import authorizations by drafting and submitting U.S. Department of Commerce (BIS) and U.S. Department of State (DDTC) applications through OCR, DECCS Portal, and SNAP‑R software
  • Self‑classify items for U.S. regulatory purposes (assign ITAR/EAR Category USML/ECCN, HTS/Schedule B and obtain trade data for procured items, recording results in an internal system
  • Independently review and approve transactions and visitors to determine if compliant with anti‑boycott, sanctions, restricted parties, approve documentation and perform other ad‑hoc denied party screenings
  • Maintain export control records in accordance with U.S. Government regulations and Company policy
  • Provide training pertaining to U.S. export / import requirements and company trade compliance policies
  • Support the development and implementation of business processes, procedures and tools to ensure compliance with export / import regulations and Company policies

  • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years global trade compliance experience, 5+ years preferred
  • Knowledge of and interpreting and providing guidance of U.S. trade regulations (ITAR, EAR, OFAC)
  • Recent experience drafting and managing TAA’s, DSP‑5’s, BIS licenses, and exemptions/exceptions authorizations
  • Experience classifying items under U.S. export/import control regulations, familiar with Order of Review, General Rules of Interpretation
  • Possess strong analytical, organizational, and written/oral communication skills
  • Must be self‑motivated and detail‑oriented
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
  • HS Diploma or GED preferred
Benefits

Pay may range from $93,000 to $103,000 annually

The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job‑related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.

Base salary is one component of your total rewards package. You may be eligible for long‑term incentives, potential discretionary bonuses, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discounted rate through the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP).
