Senior Tech, Engineering Project Assistant; Onsite

Position Overview

Engineering Support – Onsite at Collins Aerospace, Richardson, TX. Requires U.S. citizenship and a DoD Secret Clearance. The role supports engineers with administrative and documentation tasks, coordinates activities, and facilitates engineering processes.

• Create, edit, and format engineering documentation.
• Submit documents to Software Control Library (SCL) and track progress.
• Perform Data Transfer Agent (DTA) duties.
• Support the Peer Review process using the PREP tool.
• Assist with the Third-Party Intellectual Property (TPIP) process and DOORS administration.
• Grant access to drives, repositories, and labs.
• Create meeting minutes for internal and external customer meetings.
• Track action items and tasks for risk management and change management.
• Collect metrics and prepare presentation materials.
• Support the Bid & Proposal process by reviewing bid narratives.
• Assist engineering leads with project‑management tasks as needed.
• Serve as primary engineering support focal point for inquiries and problem resolution.

• HS diploma or AA/AS degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret Clearance.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational and interpersonal abilities.
• Proactive self‑starter, quick learner, and team player.
