- Safety Audits & Risk Assessment:
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly audits to identify risks and ensure compliance with OSHA and Celestica standards. - Incident Investigation:
Lead investigations into accidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. - Training &
Coaching:
Deliver safety training to associates and managers, fostering a proactive safety culture and influencing behavioral changes. - Compliance Management:
Maintain required safety documentation, records, and reports to meet local, state, and federal regulations. - Collaboration:
Partner with site leadership to drive safety improvements and support emergency response initiatives. - Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Experience with Safety Audit management.
- First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- 1+ years in an EHS-related field, or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or 6 months experience in a safety role.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental science, or related field preferred.
