Overview
1099 Mid/Final Inspector
Struction Solutions is actively looking for Mid and Final Inspectors in multiple Texas locations.
- Beaumont, TX
- Houston, TX and North Houston
- Temple, TX
- Levelland, TX
- Palacios, TX
- Perform mid & final construction inspections on residential projects
- Verify that repairs are being completed according to approved estimates, scopes of work, and building codes
- Evaluate workmanship, materials, and construction progress
- Identify incomplete, defective, or non-compliant work
- Take detailed photographs and prepare inspection reports
- Communicate findings with contractors and management teams
- Ensure safety standards and compliance requirements are being followed
- Track project timelines and provide status updates
- Verify all approved repairs and scope items have been completed
- Assess overall quality, workmanship, and code compliance
- Identify remaining deficiencies, incomplete work, or punch-list items
- Confirm contractor completion and project readiness for closure/payment
- Document findings with detailed reports and photographs
- Communicate inspection outcomes to project managers, contractors, and clients
- Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate for project closeout
- Maintain compliance with company guidelines and client expectations
- Experience and background in construction, restoration, or property inspections
- Knowledge of residential and commercial building practices
- Familiarity with roofing, structural, interior, and exterior repairs
- Ability to read scopes, estimates, and construction documents
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
- Strong understanding of building systems, repair methods, and construction standards
- Ability to identify quality and compliance issues
- Experience with property damage restoration and new construction preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in inspection/reporting software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspections daily
