The Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing residential roofing and remodeling projects from contract execution through completion. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills, as well as the ability to proactively solve problems and keep projects on schedule, within budget, and to company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple residential roofing and remodeling projects simultaneously
- Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the project
- Coordinate crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections
- Create and manage project schedules and timelines
- Ensure projects are completed according to plans, specifications, and local codes
- Monitor job costs, materials, and labor to maintain profitability
- Conduct site visits to ensure safety, quality, and progress
- Identify and resolve issues proactively to avoid delays or rework
Maintain clear documentation, change orders, and project updates - Uphold company standards for professionalism, communication, and workmanship
- Extensive experience in residential construction, preferably roofing and remodeling
- Proven experience managing projects independently from start to finish
- Experience with Xactimate strong plus
- Strong knowledge of residential building practices, materials, and sequencing
- Ability to lead crews and subcontractors effectively
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions in the field
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites. Reliable personal transportation required
