Commercial Construction Estimator Salary: $100k-$130k plus bonus opportunities
Location:Richardson, TX

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled
Commercial Construction Estimator
to join our clients Dallas team. This role will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, leading takeoffs, and developing bids for multifamily and other commercial projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong estimating expertise, a proven ability to deliver precise and competitive proposals, and the confidence to thrive under pressure while collaborating with both internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and bid proposals for commercial projects.
  • Manage bid solicitations and build strong client relationships.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to ensure accurate pricing.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather pricing information.
  • Maintain and update custom spreadsheets and project data.
  • Utilize
    Pro Core
    and Onscreen Takeoff software to complete estimates.
  • Deliver timely and accurate bid packages, ensuring consistency and competitiveness.
  • Continuously refine estimating processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of estimating experience
    in commercial construction (multifamily project experience but not required)
  • Proficiency with
    Pro Core, Onscreen Takeoff, and custom spreadsheets
    .
  • Bachelor’s degree (, not required — Construction Management or related field a plus).
  • Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and materials.
  • Proven track record of accurate and competitive bid preparation.
