Lead UX Designer – Lennox, a global HVAC and refrigeration leader with 130 years of legacy, is seeking a design expert to shape the user experience for our digital products.

Responsibilities
  • Be a key hands‑on design contributor, actively working in Figma to create high‑fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and interaction designs that align with business and user needs.
  • Create visually stunning, brand‑aligned interfaces with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Set the standard for craft and quality in UI design, mentoring peers through example and critique.
  • Own and execute end‑to‑end UX design processes, from research and discovery through to final execution, ensuring thoughtful, scalable solutions.
  • Lead UX strategy for major digital initiatives while also refining details and interactions of the designs.
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define problems, develop solutions, and validate designs through usability testing and research.
  • Champion design thinking and best practices, facilitating workshops, critiques, and working sessions to ensure a shared UX vision.
  • Advocate for users at every step, leveraging data, research, and testing to ensure user‑centered outcomes.
  • Present designs and strategies to leadership, ensuring alignment and buy‑in for key initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of UX trends and emerging technologies to continually elevate the design practice and digital experiences.
  • Leverage AI‑assisted design and research tools to accelerate discovery, synthesis, ideation, and iteration while maintaining high standards for craft, accessibility, and user trust.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in UX and product design with a strong portfolio of complex, user‑centered solutions.
  • Expert‑level proficiency in Figma and specialist expertise in UX design, prototyping, and high‑fidelity UI execution.
  • Exceptional visual design skills, demonstrating mastery of UI, typography, color theory, and layout.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for pixel‑perfect execution; consistently delivering polished, production‑ready assets.
  • Proven track record as a key design contributor on high‑impact digital initiatives, balancing strategic vision and hands‑on execution.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative user research experience, ensuring data‑driven design decisions.
  • Excellent ability to present and defend design decisions to senior leadership, product managers, and engineers.
  • Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience leveraging AI in UX (AI Design) to speed up design and research workflows.
  • Experience managing and evolving design systems for consistency, scalability, and seamless collaboration.
  • Experience designing for accessibility and inclusive design principles.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Human‑Computer Interaction, UX/UI Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $125,600 – $164,850 annually. Eligible for an annual bonus (if applicable). Role is exempt and not eligible for overtime.
