Job Summary

Position Description

The Naveen Jindal School of Management seeks applicants for the position of Executive Director of the Center for Financial Technology and Analytics. The successful candidate will be appointed as a non-tenure track Assistant, Associate or Full Professor of Practice or of Instruction (depending on qualifications and experience) in the Finance Area. The Executive Director will be responsible for managing the Center, developing Center projects, supporting students' projects in the Center, running conferences and establishing the premier center for knowledge dissemination in the area of Financial Technology and Analytics.

Faculty members are responsible for developing curriculum, teaching prescribed courses as outlined by the degree plan, providing mentoring opportunities to students, and participating in FTEC student organization meetings and events.

The appointment commences for the fall 2026 semester.

Qualifications

Minimum

Education and Experience:

A master's degree in a relevant field is required prior to employment along with at least five years of experience in the finance technology and analytics industry, with progression to managerial positions within this industry. Candidates are expected to demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, engaging, and dynamic environment comprised of individuals with a range of backgrounds, skills, and perspectives.

We are seeking candidates able to deliver high quality teaching using evidence-based practices to effectively engage students from a range of backgrounds and experiences.

Preferred

Education and Experience:

Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. and at least five years of experience in the risk management or finance technology industry and who have progressed to managerial positions within this industry.

The Finance Area

The qualified applicant will work in the Finance Area of the Naveen Jindal School of Management in the position of the Center for Executive Director of Financial Technology and Analytics.
