Elementary Intervention Teacher

BASIS Richardson is currently seeking enthusiastic and passionate individuals for an Elementary Intervention Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year.

As a BASIS Ed Elementary Learning Expert Teacher, you utilize your expertise to address the differentiated needs of your students. In collaboration with Subject Expert Teachers, who handle main instruction, you focus on individual student results rather than preparing multiple lessons every day. This enables you to raise student learning.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Demonstrated passion for student achievement and directed effort to raise individual student outcomes.

• Experience as an elementary educator.
• Strong communication skills.
• Open to new ideas in teaching methods.

BASIS Elementary Teachers co-teach with two teachers. LETs cultivate a joyful learning culture, celebrate hard work, and provide intellectual pursuits that lead to extraordinary outcomes. LETs customize education to meet the individual needs of each student.

• Responsible for one cohort of students and lead them through classroom transitions during the day.
• Collaborate with the Subject Expert Teacher for each class period.
• Utilize expertise in elementary education teaching methods to provide individualized or small group instruction to meet differentiated needs.
• Establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere.

Salary for this position is competitive and dependent on education and experience.
