Description:
Our youth ministry serves students in grades 6–12 and seeks to help them grow into mature followers of Jesus Christ through biblical teaching, authentic relationships, worship, service, and fellowship.
PositionDescription:
- Prepare and deliver biblically sound Sunday sermons in English for the youth ministry.
- Lead, shepherd, and disciple junior high and high school students.
- Plan, organize, and oversee youth ministry events, retreats, fellowship activities, and special programs.
- Lead and participate in the Saturday youth ministry program ("Merge").
- Recruit, equip, and work alongside ministry staff, volunteers, and the Parent Teacher Association (PTA).
- Build relationships with students and parents in supporting students' spiritual growth.
- Maintain accurate ministry records and student rosters.
- Submit a monthly ministry report using the church's reporting template.
- Participate in church staff meetings and collaborate with the pastoral staff as needed.
Required
- A servant‑hearted leader who demonstrates Christian character and humility.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Minimum of two years of ministry experience.
- At least two years of experience serving as a full‑time Youth Pastor.
- Ability to communicate in Korean.
- Based on experience, 55K-65K
