Support Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Support Teacher to join our team. As a Support Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can learn and grow. Your role will involve developing age-appropriate lesson plans, implementing educational activities, and providing a safe and supportive learning environment for children.

Duties:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of preschool-aged children
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and fosters a love for learning
• Provide individualized attention to each child, ensuring their unique needs are met
• Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles
• Incorporate play-based activities to enhance cognitive skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
• Collaborate with parents/guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
• Familiarity with lesson planning techniques and curriculum development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
