In the School of Interdisciplinary Studies, teach one section of PHIN 1103 – Beginning Tennis. This course is one credit hour, graded, undergraduate. Beginning Tennis provides instruction in basic tennis and is designed for the beginning player where development of basic strokes, rules of play, and scoring are discussed.
Minimum Education and ExperienceAn earned graduate degree appropriate to the academic discipline/topic and a record of productivity and professional achievement.
PreferredEducation and Experience
Master’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Education, Coaching, or a closely related field. Must have a minimum of five years of tennis instruction at the intermediate level.
Preferred experience:
Ten years of tennis instruction at an advanced level.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Prepare and teach one section of PHIN 1103 – Beginning Tennis
- Maintain contact with a diverse student population in the classroom and via electronic learning platforms (eLearning)
- Contribute assessment information and data as requested through the administration and the Assessment Team
- Participate in course evaluation surveys
