Job Summary

The Senior Manager for the UT Dallas Latin America Office serves as the university's primary representative in the region, responsible for advancing institutional partnerships, supporting strategic international enrollment initiatives, and enhancing student engagement across Latin America. This role is designed for an experienced higher education professional with direct experience working with universities in the United States or with institutions that have strong knowledge of the U.S. higher education system.

The Senior Manager engages prospective students, families, secondary schools, universities, counselors, and other educational partners to support UT Dallas's international enrollment and expansion efforts. Working closely with UT Dallas admissions, academic units, and International Center staff, the role advances enrollment strategy and institutional priorities, represents the university at targeted events, and contributes to the development of institutional partnerships.

A key responsibility of this position is to support enrollment yield through sustained engagement with admitted students. This includes responding to inquiries, facilitating pre-arrival advising and communications, and supporting events and initiatives that help students successfully transition from admission to enrollment

The Senior Manager will also strengthen relationships with UT Dallas alumni in the region and identify opportunities for alumni engagement in student outreach and recruitment activities. Regular visits to the UT Dallas campus are expected to maintain a strong understanding of institutional priorities, academic offerings, and the student experience.

Given the independent nature of this role, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong professional judgment, self-direction, and the ability to manage relationships, events, and communications with minimal day-to-day supervision. This role requires confidence in representing UT Dallas publicly and the ability to build long-term relationships that advance the university's visibility, enrollment, and student success in Latin America.

This full-time position is based in Mexico City, Mexico, via contract with Safeguard Global, and includes regional and international travel. Responsibilities also include office and project management, periodic facilitation of seminars and workshops, and presentations at conferences and programs.
