Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Lead Field Service Engineer based out of their Richardson TX facility. As a communications systems provider for the US Air Force and Navy, they operate in a fast-paced, controlled-chaos environment; this is an ideal opportunity for individuals who are proactive and can thrive under dynamic conditions.
** This is a High Overseas travel role; 75% + worldwide (Europe, Rome Italy, Australia, India, NATO/US sites) **

Compensation: $,000 annually ($/hour (+ OT + Per Diem)
What You Will Do:
- Conduct testing of RF and Digital systems; will work from schematics, engineering drawings, wire lists, as well as written or verbal instructions.
- Will oversee a small team to install and test equipment at remote locations
- Operate related electronic and mechanical equipment necessary to construct, test, process, troubleshoot, repair and maintain specific products or equipment
- Recommend changes or modifications to improve the operation or the quality of electronic or mechanical products and equipment
- Determine methods, operations and sequences in setting procedures for constructing, testing, troubleshooting, repairing processing, and modifying electronic and mechanical products and equipment as required
Education and Work Experience:
- Must have at least 4 years of US Military experience (Navy Nuclear ETs, USAF avionics/communications, Interior Communications Technicians are strongly preferred)
- 7–10 years of Field Service experience (mechanical/electrical/electronics)
- Leads site crews by example, performs installs, testing, and troubleshooting
- Requires Active Secret Clearance and proven track record in Field Service LEADERSHIP
- Must have Passport + international travel eligibility (visa approval capability)
- Able to lift, route, and install large equipment (server racks, coils, amplifiers); experience reading schematics, wire lists, assembly drawings
- Basic computer skills: MS Windows, loading software, network systems, Linux, PLSs (AutoCAD proficiency a plus)
