Systems Sr Engineer (Network Specific Role)
Location: 2375 N Glenville Dr, Richardson, TX 75082
Hours: M-F 8am-5pm (Some flexibility)
Duration: 1 year contract (potential to extend)
Work Arrangement: Training in-person, then hybrid at manager’s discretion

We are seeking a Systems Sr. Engineer specializing in network infrastructure to lead modernization and M&A projects. You’ll work both independently and collaboratively to facilitate discovery, planning, design, documentation, and implementation of network upgrades and integration activities.
Responsibilities Include- Assess and document existing network environments
- Design, configure, and implement network infrastructure in line with company standards
- Lead equipment replacement projects (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, etc.)
- Coordinate installation, testing, and validation of new network systems
- Ensure documentation and knowledge transfer to Operations
- Troubleshoot network issues and support migration efforts
- Communicate effectively with managers, project teams, and stakeholders
- 4-6 years’ relevant network engineering experience (Cisco, Palo Alto, M&A projects)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
- Technical certifications (Cisco, Palo Alto, etc.)
- Deep experience with Cisco route/switch, SDWAN, Meraki, Palo Alto Firewalls, Juniper Wireless
- Knowledgeable in routing protocols, cloud/network security, WAN topologies, network monitoring
- Outstanding documentation, problem solving, and leadership skills
- DHS/D&C project experience
- Cloud networking experience
- 1 round (virtual); video required
