• Define and govern system-level architecture across controls and mechanical domains
• Lead automation system design including PLCs, robotics, and material handling
• Manage engineering scope, schedules, and design reviews
• Oversee PLC/HMI/SCADA architecture and industrial networking
• Guide mechanical system design for throughput, safety, and maintainability
• Lead commissioning, validation, and system ramp‑up
• Manage vendors, integrators, and technical stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation initiatives

• Experience with ASRS systems and warehouse automation
• Knowledge of functional safety standards (ISO 13849, IEC 61508)

• Strong systems‑thinking and problem‑solving capability
• Ability to lead cross‑functional engineering teams
• Effective communication with technical and executive stakeholders
• High ownership and execution mindset

• Project delivery performance (cost, schedule, scope)
• System throughput, uptime, and OEE
• Engineering quality and defect reduction
• Cycle time and productivity improvements

• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
• Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
• Occasional travel may be required.

• 10–15+ years in industrial automation or manufacturing systems
• Experience in similar job roles

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
