Associate Sales Engineer

The Ash Group is hiring an Associates Sales Engineer for our client, a premier network integrator and provider of next-generation, multi-vendor "Factory Built Networks®" and optical domain control software. This is a full-time position working in Richardson, TX (Onsite) offering a salary around 80-85K plus commission based on skillset.

• Assist with SOW creation
• Help support POCs in lab environments
• Stand up and troubleshoot equipment
• Support senior engineering team
• Work with a team in the planning, design, and operation of customer optical networks.
• Work with sales teams to design and develop winning and profitable solutions.
• Validate customer requests and requirements for network hardware, software, and functionality.

• Must have 1–3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer
• Fundamental understanding of optical networks
• Ability to create SOWs (Statements of Work)
• Experience supporting labs/POCs (Proof of Concepts) and standing up equipment
• Self-starter who can operate with limited direction
• Strong follow-through and ability to complete action items
• Hands‑on optical lab experience is a plus
• Exposure to telecom/optical transport environments is a plus
