What are your contributions to the team?

We currently have an immediate opening for a Field Service Representative (FSR), reporting to the Manager, Fleet Operators and Service Program Management. In support of Bombardier’s continued commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience, we are seeking a highly motivated professional to strengthen our team. The successful candidate will be based at the customer’s office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (USA).

Responsibilities
  • Support customers in integrating Bombardier business aircraft into their operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Actively provide robust troubleshooting support to assist Maintenance Operating Center (MOC) and the customer in resolving technical issues effectively.
  • Prioritize and elevate technical or operational concerns within both the customer’s organization and Bombardier.
  • Provide informal training and share technical, operational, and logistical insights related to aircraft operation and maintenance.
  • Keep Bombardier management informed of key operational and maintenance issues affecting customer aircraft.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer procedures and operations involving Bombardier aircraft.
  • Encourage customers to implement Bombardier-recommended actions that improve product performance and satisfaction by sharing Airworthiness Directives (AW), Service Bulletins (SBs), and other relevant Bombardier documentation to clarify intent and highlight operational enhancements.
  • Prepare, present, and submit reports in accordance with established requirements and timelines such as AOG review meetings and define action plans aimed at improving overall aircraft reliability reports, etc.
  • Support field teams during modification retrofits, product upgrades, and damage repairs at customer facilities or service centers, as required.
  • Navigate and utilize Bombardier’s internal customer support and in-service processes effectively.
  • Identify and elevate recurring fleet issues to Bombardier Technical Services for potential product improvements.
  • Support Procurement, Maintenance Planning, and Maintenance Operating Center (MOC) teams for part number and next higher assembly searches.
  • Actively participate in customer meetings, including fleet reliability and operational reviews.
  • Travel as needed.
Qualifications
  • You have at least 5 years of aviation maintenance experience.
  • You must have at least 2 years of experience with Bombardier products (Global 5000 / 6000 series, Global 7500 / 8000, and Challenger 300/350/3500 series).
  • You have strong aircraft troubleshooting skills.
  • You have computer skills necessary to learn and/or operate word processing, spreadsheet, database, email, and web-based applications.
  • You have interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals, departments, organizations, and regulatory agencies.
  • You have business writing skills necessary to create various reports and correspondence.
  • You have the ability to travel.
  • You are an EASA or FAA licensed Airframe & Powerplant mechanic - preferred.
  • Be self-driven and have a problem-solver attitude.
  • Be available for on-call support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
